REMEMBERING
& HONORING
Each year, across the country, thousands
of men, women and children receive a renewed opportunity
for life and good health because someone made the decision
to donate. We honor, celebrate and recognize donor families
and their loved ones for their enormous faith, generosity
and courage during our annual Celebration of Life ceremonies.
The Celebration of Life ceremonies are held each April during Donate Life Month. Currently, we hold three regional celebrations to accommodate our expansive state. Donor families from the previous two years will receive invitations to attend. However, donor families from prior years are welcome. Simply contact the Life Anew Program Coordinator as (800) 200-2672.
Those who attend can look forward to participating in a Video Memorial Tribute of their loved one, sharing their stories with other donor families, and recognizing the gift that their loved one was able to give.
Donor families are invited to design a
quilt square in memory of their loved one. These quilts are shared not only at future Celebration of Life ceremonies but at community and state events, health fairs, public awareness campaigns and other Carolina Donor Services' functions.
